Abstract:

Provided is a secondary cell system having a plurality of cells, capable of contributing to increased service life of cells and enhanced (energy) efficiency of charging/discharging of the system as a whole. A secondary cell system (10) is provided with a plurality of cells (3-1 to 3-30) individual capable of charging/discharging control, a plurality of PCS (2-1 to 2-30) corresponding to and connected to each cell, respectively, for charging/discharging the corresponding cell, and a cell controller (1) for distributing a charging/discharging electric power value for the system as a whole to each of the PCS (2-1 to 2-30) at a periodic or arbitrary timing. The cell controller (1) has a priority order calculation unit for assigning a priority order to the plurality of cells (3-1 to 3-30) at each time on the basis of a degradation characteristic relating to the SOC of each cell (3-1 to 3-30), and a distribution ratio determination unit for distributing a charging/discharging electric power value to the PCS (2-1 to 2-30) in accordance with the priority order.
