Abstract:
The present invention generates a predetermined number of sets of mask values, where each set is for the number of attributes to be masked in a database, and for each of a plurality of records which include attribute values for the attributes to be masked, selects any of the predetermined number of sets of mask values, and by implementing predefined computation for the attribute values of the attributes to be masked in the records corresponding to the selected mask values, generates masked data for the plurality of records. By associating the selection results for the mask values with identifiers of the records and retaining the same, it is possible to reduce the amount of data used at the time of unmasking processing.
