Abstract:
A secure handoff method and system during handoff process of a terminal in a Next Generation Network are provided by the present invention, in which the Next Generation Network includes a handoff management module, an authentication server and a terminal. The secure handoff method includes: presetting initial security parameters on the authentication server and the terminal and generating security parameters by the initial security parameters; the handoff management module obtaining the security parameters; the handoff management module communicating with the terminal utilizing the generated security parameters to ensure communication security between two communication parties. With the present invention, communication security between the terminal and the handoff management module could be ensured.
