Abstract:
A security system is provided with which it is possible to set the length of the period in which each user can pass through a secured area inside a building. A security system according to the present invention comprises a security start unit (16) that sets the time from when the identification information of a user is read by reading devices (5a, 8b) provided at entrances and exits, until security for the secured area inside the building is started, according to the identification information. It is thereby possible to set the length of an extension period in which each user can pass through the secured area inside the building.
