Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seismic isolation device and, more specifically, to a seismic isolation device which, when an earthquake occurs, can minimize earthquake damage by minimizing shaking of a structure or equipment installed on the seismic isolation device and quickly returning the shaken structure or equipment to the initial position thereof. To this end, the seismic isolation device of the present invention comprises: plates arranged at the top and bottom of the seismic isolation device, respectively; steel balls disposed between the plates; and a sensor provided at one side of the seismic isolation device, wherein the plates are coupled to each other while facing each other in the perpendicular direction.
