Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of automatic driving and intelligent transportation, and provided therein are a self-adaptive cruise system supporting traffic light recognition and a control method. The self-adaptive cruise system according to the present invention comprises: a wireless receiving module, which is adapted to a wireless transmitting module of a traffic light and used for receiving first traffic light state information transmitted by the wireless transmitting module regarding a traffic light on a current lane; and a main controller, which communicates with the wireless receiving module and is used for acquiring the first traffic light state information received by the wireless receiving module and carrying out parking control or self-adaptive cruise control on the basis of the first traffic light state information. In the present invention, one wireless receiving module adapted to a wireless transmitting module of a traffic light is added to acquire traffic light state information, and the self-adaptive cruise control for avoiding violation of traffic lights is further achieved on the basis of the acquired traffic light state information, which can improve driving safety.
