Title:
SELF-ALIGNING MATERIAL, SELF-ALIGNING LIQUID CRYSTAL MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/148827
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided by the present invention are a self-aligning material, a self-aligning liquid crystal material, and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel. The self-aligning material of the present invention can align liquid crystal molecules, and when the self-aligning material is added in a liquid crystal material, it is not necessary to provide a polyimide alignment layer in a liquid crystal panel. The self-aligning liquid crystal material of the present invention contains the described self-aligning material, and the self-aligning material can align liquid crystal molecules, thus it is not necessary to provide a polyimide alignment layer in the liquid crystal panel. The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel of the present invention utilizes the self-aligning material in the self-aligning liquid crystal material to align liquid crystal molecules, and it is not necessary to manufacture a polyimide alignment layer, thereby eliminating a manufacturing process for manufacturing a polyimide alignment layer and reducing production costs.
