Abstract:
A self-contained recycling unit is provided. The self-contained recycling unit includes a transportable structure, a sorting and cleaning area for sorting a mass of recycling waste into a plurality of types of recyclable waste and for cleaning the recyclable waste, a waste processing unit housed within the transportable structure, and at least one power source that is configured to supply electrical power to the transportable structure. The waste processing unit is configured to process the sorted recyclable waste into recycled materials. A plurality of crates are housed within the transportable structure for storing the recycled materials.
