Abstract:
Self-locking foldable handlebars include a left handlebar (1), a right handlebar
(2) and a housing (3) connected with the tail ends of the left and right handlebars
(1,2). The left and right handlebars (1,2) may symmetrically synchronously
rotate between in a horizontal unfolded position and in a vertical folded position.
When unfolded a semicircular hole and a semi-taper pin (4) of the tail ends of the
left and right handlebars (1,2) form a concentric circular hole and a concentric
taper pin in the transverse direction by engagement, a taper sleeve (6) is provided
in the transverse direction to firmly engage with the concentric taper pin under
elasticity, thereby perform the self-locking of the left and right handlebars
(1,2). A control bar (7) is provided to separate the taper sleeve (6) from the taper
pin, so the left and right handlebars (1,2) are in the vertical folded position
by their weight.
