Abstract:
A self-service checkout device, method, apparatus, medium and electronic device, the self-service checkout method comprising: identifying whether an item to be checked out is an item of a target type when the item to be checked out is placed in a checkout area (S402); if the item to be checked out is an item of the target type, then identifying the quantity of the item to be checked out, acquiring the unit price of the item to be checked out, and generating checkout information according to the quantity and the unit price of the item to be checked out (S404); if the item to be checked out is not an item of the target type, then identifying the category of the item to be checked out, acquiring the weight of the item to be checked out, and generating checkout information according to the category and the weight of the item to be checked out (S406). The present technical solution improves the range of application of self-service checkout and is beneficial in improving the self-service checkout experience of users.
