Abstract:
A semiconductor device driving circuit is provided with: a signal transmission circuit including a first level shift circuit for level-shifting an input signal having a first voltage level and generating, on the basis of the input signal, a drive signal having a second voltage level higher than the first voltage level; and a desaturation voltage detection circuit for, when detecting the desaturation voltage of a semiconductor switching element driven by the drive signal, outputting a first error signal having the first voltage level. The semiconductor device driving circuit level-shifts the first error signal or a conversion signal obtained by converting the first error signal to a pulse signal and thereby generates a second error signal having the second voltage level. The semiconductor device driving circuit is further provided with a soft cutoff circuit for changing the drive signal for the semiconductor switching element so that the semiconductor switching element is cut off softly when the second error signal is input.
