Abstract:
This semiconductor device includes: a chip having a main surface; an output region provided on the main surface; a protective region provided on the main surface; an output transistor having a plurality of first trench gate structures formed on the main surface with a first interval in the output region; and a protective circuit that has a protective transistor including a plurality of second trench gate structures formed on the main surface with a second interval bigger than the first interval in the protective region, and forms an overvoltage discharge path.
