Title:
SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT AND LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/151542
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention realizes a semiconductor light-emitting element in which current is prevented from concentrating in a region in the vicinity of a current feed part, even when a large current is fed. This semiconductor light-emitting element has a semiconductor layer that includes a p-type semiconductor layer, a light-emitting layer, and an n-type semiconductor layer on an element substrate, and also has an electrode that includes a current feed part linked to a current feed line, the electrode being formed so as to be in contact with the upper surface of a part of the semiconductor layer. The element substrate has a first region formed at a location that includes a position facing the current feed part in a direction orthogonal to the surface of the element substrate, and a second region that is thicker than the first region.
