Abstract:
Provided is a sensing device which is robust to variation of a positional relationship between a microphone and an audio signal generation device that emits a desired audio signal. This sensing device comprises: a periodic calculation unit which, for an audio signal, calculates a correlation-coefficient time series using a correlation function for a time series of frequencies for which the amplitude spectra of frames of the audio signal are at the maximum; and a periodic determination unit which detects peaks from the correlation-coefficient time series, sets the first detected peak as a reference peak and, if the difference between a subsequent peak and a predetermined coefficient multiple of the reference peak is greater than or equal to a threshold, determines a desired audio signal to have been sensed if an obtained period is within a predetermined range, said period being obtained from the reference peak and the peak for which the difference with respect to the predetermined coefficient multiple of the reference peak is greater than or equal to the threshold.
