Abstract:
Provided are a sensing device and a robot manipulator comprising same, the sensing device comprising a cover, a force sensor, and a force information calculation unit. The cover has a predetermined shape and covers a body. The force sensor is disposed at a point between the body and the cover so as to measure force and torque applied at the point via the cover. When force is applied to an arbitrary location of the cover, the force information calculation unit derives, from data measured by the force sensor, information on the force applied to the cover.
