Abstract:
A sensor attachment member and sensor attachment method for easily mounting various types of sensors on a track rail of a rolling guide device in one operation, said sensor attachment member comprising a sensor holding part (30) that covers a sensor (4) and sandwiches the sensor between the sensor holding part and a top surface (14) of a track rail (1), and a pair of leg parts (31) that are provided one on each end of the sensor holding part and that, in conjunction with elastic deformation, clamp the track rail (1) from both sides in the width direction. As the pair of leg parts (31) clamp the track rail (1) the sensor holding part (30) presses the sensor (4) against the top surface of the track rail (1).
