Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sensor device and a detecting method employing the same, with which it is possible to carry out a measurement using a simple operation and to reduce damage. A sensor device 1 is provided with a specimen liquid sensor 2 and a reader 3 that can be attached to and removed from the specimen liquid sensor 2. The specimen liquid sensor 2 includes: a sensor body 20 having a first surface 20a; a sensor element 21 positioned on the sensor body 20; and a plurality of external terminals 22 positioned on the first surface 20a of the sensor body 20. Four external terminals 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d are positioned at four corners of the rectangular shaped first surface 20a, and the four external terminals 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d have two-fold rotational symmetry.
