Title:
SENSOR DEVICE FOR DETECTING A PHYSICAL MEASURED QUANTITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2000039530
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor device for detecting a physical measured quantity which comprises at least one sensor element, means that influence said element, and a circuit with an output via which the measured value is output as a digitally or analog coded signal. Using a sensor device of this type should solve the technical problem of making information externally accessible at any time in order to evaluate the current tolerance situation. To this end, the invention provides that, in addition to the primary output signal which represents the measured value, another physical quantity which occurs in the sensor device is made available as a secondary signal for subsequent control and testing devices. Said additional physical quantity is utilized for detecting the desired measured quantity and, according to the value thereof, makes it possible to deduce the tolerance situation of the system.
