Abstract:
Disclosed is a sensor device which comprises a mounting substrate and a sensor chip that is held on the mounting substrate. The sensor chip comprises a holding plate (12) and a plurality of through holes (18) that penetrate through a first surface and a second surface of the holding plate (12). A solution that contains subjects is flowed over the first surface of the holding plate (12), and the subjects are held by the plurality of through holes (18). The directions of line segments connecting the centers of each adjacent through holes among the plurality of through holes (18) are not parallel to the flow direction of the solution.
