Title:
SENSOR FOR SENSING EXISTENCE POSITION OF METALLIC BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1993/009858
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A sensor has a plurality of transmission lines (22) for generating magnetic fields by the application of current, a base for supporting these transmission lines (22), a plurality of reception lines (26) for sensing the change in magnetic fluxes caused by the proximity of metal through coupling the reception lines (26) magnetically with the transmission lines (22), and a base for supporting the reception lines (26). Each of the transmission lines (22), and reception lines (26) is made up of a conductor thin film which is formed as a film on the base and has a folded form having going and returning paths. Also, the transmission lines (22) and the reception lines (26) sandwich the base and the directions of the lines (22 and 26) are perpendicular to each other.
