Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sensor unit capable of protecting a piezoelectric element and detecting sound together with vibration. A sensor unit according to the present invention is provided with a sheet-like piezoelectric element having a porous layer, and is further provided with a sound propagation sheet that covers at least one surface of the piezoelectric element and transmits sound incident on the one surface to the other surface. It is preferable for the sound pressure level difference between the sound incident on the sound propagation sheet and the transmitted sound to be 10 dB or less. It is preferable for the area density of the sound propagation sheet to be from 0.03-100 g/m2. It is preferable for the sound propagation sheet to be flexible. It is preferable for the sound propagation sheet to have voids. It preferable to further provide a sound blocking sheet that covers the other surface of the piezoelectric element and effectively prevents the transmission to the one surface of sound incident on the other surface.
