Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention relates to a sensor provided to an opening in a vehicle body or to a door for opening and closing the opening, the sensor being used to detect foreign matter that prevents the door from opening and closing. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sensor able to simplify the structure of the end cap. [Solution] When viewed in a cross-section perpendicular to the length direction of the sensor (50), the sensor has an internal electrode (59), a first external electrode (61) and a second external electrode (63) arranged with an intervening space from the internal electrode (59) and made flexible in the direction of the internal electrode (59), and an insulator (65) arranged between the first external electrode (61) and the second external electrode (63).
