Title:
SENSORLESS MAGNETIC LEVITATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2001/086159
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A sensorless magnetic levitation device is provided for holding an object or a magnetic object in noncontact manner between a pair of electromagnets. An inverter circuit (X) energizes a bridge circuit consisting of windings (9, 10) of the pair of electromagnets and two 2-terminal networks (11, 12). The potential difference (or short-circuit current) between points (b and d) is detected by a signal detector (13) and fed back to the control input (2) of the inverter circuit through a rectifier (16) synchronized with the switching operation of the inverter and through a controller (15).
