The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a separation device for separating a liquid from a processed product in a process for feeding the processed product containing the liquid by rotating plates that rotate, wherein the liquid can be efficiently separated from the processed product and damage to the rotating plate can be efficiently prevented. The device is provided with: a plurality of rotational shafts 9 formed in the horizontal direction and arranged in parallel in the vertical direction; a drive device 7 for rotatably driving each of the rotational shafts 9; and a plurality of rotating plates 12 mounted in parallel in the horizontal direction on each of the rotational shafts 9 with the direction of plate thickness oriented in the horizontal direction. Spaces S1, S2, wherein the liquid in the processed product falls, are formed between adjacent rotating plates 12 in the horizontal direction or vertical direction. The rotating plates 12 are formed so as to periodically repeat a state of protruding upward and a state of not protruding upward along with being formed so as to be elastically deformable along the directions of the rotational shafts 9.
