Abstract:
Provided is a separation device capable of more effectively limiting liquid foaming. In an aspect of the present invention, the separation device comprises: a cyclone extending along a central axis and having an inlet for letting in a liquid containing a contaminant and a first outlet for letting out the contaminant, the outlet being provided at the bottom end of the cyclone, the cyclone being configured to swirl the liquid inside the cyclone to centrifugally separate the contaminant from the liquid, the cyclone having a columnar air layer extending along the central axis from the first outlet, the cyclone allowing the liquid from which the contaminant has been separated to rise along the outer circumference of the air layer; a clean case provided on the opposite side of the cyclone from the first outlet in the cyclone extension direction, the clean case having a second outlet and a partition provided on the top end of the cyclone and having a communication hole, the communication hole allowing communication between the clean case and the interior of the cyclone; a gas-liquid separation pipe extending from the communication hole along the central axis and having multiple first holes; and an internal wall extending along the central axis, surrounding the gas-liquid separation pipe, and having multiple second holes.
