Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a separation membrane for blood treatment with which, even when subjected to radioactive sterilization in a dry state, blood compatibility is excellent and elution of nitric acid ions from the inside surface is reduced, and a blood treatment device in which the same membrane is incorporated. The present invention is a separation membrane for a blood treatment device formed from at least a polysulfone-based resin and polyvinyl pyrrolidone, wherein intermediate water accounts for at least 40% of the water that is present at the separating surface when the separation membrane in a dry state is hydrated to the water content saturation point; the water content of the separation membrane for blood treatment is 10% or less; and the separation membrane has been subjected to radioactive sterilization.
