Abstract:
The present invention provides a separation membrane having a porous resin layer that includes a polymer having a polyvinylidene chloride resin as a main component. In the porous resin layer, the pore count A for pores having a surface pore diameter of 0.01 μm to less than 0.05 μm and the pore count B for pores having a surface pore diameter of 0.05 μm or more satisfy the relationship 2.0 ≤ A/B ≤ 15.0. Additionally, in the porous resin layer, the surface pore-opening ratio is 10% or more. Microvoids having a minor diameter of 10 μm or more are present in a region within 15 μm from the surface of the porous resin layer.
