Provided are a separation membrane module having a simple configuration and capable of being manufactured easily, and a fluid separation method. A separation membrane module comprises: a module body (3) which is provided with separation membrane-equipped single tubes (1) having separation membranes (15) formed on the inner surfaces thereof and arranged parallel to each other with predetermined intervals therebetween, the single tubes (1) each having both ends respectively affixed to fixation plates (7); chamber members (2a, 2b) respectively provided to the fixation plates (7) of the module body (3); and partition plates (6) which are each provided to partition the inside of each chamber member (2a, 2b) into chambers and which serially connect the separation membrane-equipped single tubes (1) through the chambers within the chambers members (2a, 2b). Preferably, the chamber members (2a, 2b) are provided with chamber forming bodies (2a1, 2b1) and flange sections (2a2, 2b2) which are mounted to the chamber forming bodies (2a1, 2b1) and are affixed to the fixation plates (7), the partition plates (6) are affixed to the insides of the chamber forming bodies (2a1, 2b1), and the chamber members (2a, 2b) are rotatably affixed to the fixation plates (7) of the module body (3).
