Abstract:
This separation system (4) comprises: a first separation unit (41) which has a separation membrane and is provided with a fluid supply port (411), a permeated fluid discharge port (413), and a non-permeated fluid discharge port (412); a second separation unit (42) which has a separation membrane and is provided with a fluid supply port (421), a permeated fluid discharge port (423), and a non-permeated fluid discharge port (422); an intermediate connection part (44) connecting the permeated fluid discharge port of the first separation unit and the fluid supply port of the second separation unit; a supply pipe (43) which is connected to the fluid supply port of the first separation unit and through which a mixed fluid containing a plurality of types of fluids flows at a higher pressure than atmospheric pressure; and a pressure reduction unit (471) which is connected to the permeated fluid discharge port of the second separation unit and reduces the pressure inside the permeated fluid discharge port to a lower pressure than atmospheric pressure. The intermediate connection part is not provided with a device for raising pressure and a device for reducing pressure, whereby the pressure inside the intermediate connection part is lower than the pressure inside the supply pipe and is at least atmospheric pressure.
