Abstract:
The present invention relates to a separator for an electrochemical device and an electrochemical device comprising same. A separator according to an embodiment of the present invention is directed to a separator for an electrochemical device, the separator comprising a porous polymer substrate and one porous coating layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the porous coating layer comprises inorganic hydroxide particles, cellulose nano fibers, and an aqueous binder polymer, and the content of the cellulose nanofibers is 25 wt% to 70 wt% relative to the total weight of the porous coating layer.
