Abstract:
This separator for secondary batteries comprises: a base constituted of a porous object having a melting temperature or decomposition temperature of 200ºC or higher; and a resinous material which has been formed at least inside the base in an at least some planar region of a plane observed in a view of the thickness-direction base and with which the inner surfaces of voids of the porous object have been coated without completely clogging the communicating parts through which the voids have been connected to one another, the resinous material having been distributed so that the density thereof deceases toward the inside of the base.
