Abstract:
Provided is a separator for a secondary battery, the separator simultaneously achieving uniform coatability of a binder slurry and reduction in resistance of a cell, which are in a trade-off relationship. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a separator for a secondary battery, the separator comprising: a preliminary separator including a porous substrate and a coating layer on one side of the porous substrate; a first binder layer disposed on one side of the coating layer; and a second binder layer disposed on the other side of the porous substrate, wherein the first binder layer and the second binder layer may each include the same surfactant or a different surfactant, and expression 1 is satisfied. [Expression 1] ΔP(s/100cc)=|Ps-Pc|<120, wherein, in equation 1, Ps represents the permeability of the separator for a secondary battery, and Pc represents the permeability of the preliminary separator.
