Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible for even a sequence program novice to easily find out a desired signal from the sequence program without having to memorize signals per function. This sequence program display device comprises a search string input unit for inputting a search string, a database unit that stores information to identify a signal and a string defined as auxiliary information for the signal, a signal conversion unit that converts to a signal on the basis of the inputted search string and the strings of the database unit, a sequence program storage unit that stores the sequence program, a sequence program retrieval unit that retrieves the signal having been converted by the signal conversion unit from the sequence program, and a display unit that displays a location of the sequence program that includes the signal having been retrieved by the sequence program retrieval unit.
