Abstract:
Provided are a server for providing a course recommendation service to a new administration-based home appliance, and an operation method thereof. A server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may receive a request signal of a course recommendation service from a home appliance, determine whether the home appliance is a new device, convert first administrative history data existing in relation to a conventional home appliance of the same type having existed before the home appliance into second administrative history data corresponding to the new home appliance, acquire information related to a recommended course by using the converted second administrative history data, and transmit the acquired information on the recommended course to the new home appliance.
