Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a server for controlling a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU) mounted on a traveling vehicle. The server may comprise; a transmitting and receiving unit; and a processor which controls the transmitting and receiving unit. The processor may perform the steps of: determining a location area to which the vehicle will move after an arbitrary time; determining the data transmission speed of downlink data required for the vehicle in the location area after the arbitrary time; determining one base station or a combination of a plurality of base stations which can ensure the determined data transmission speed; and transmitting the downlink data to the determined base station or the determined combination of the plurality of base stations.
