The embodiments of the present invention relate to a service chain processing method, device and system. The method comprises: receiving, by a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) entity, a credit control request message sent by an application detection entity, the credit control request message comprising application enabling information acquired by the application detection entity when a user terminal accesses an application; sending, by the PCRF entity, a service chain path request message to a service controller, the service chain path request message comprising attribute information about a service chain determined by the PCRF entity according to the application enabling information and being used for conducting service processing on the application; receiving, by the PCRF entity, path identification information about the service chain sent by the service controller according to the attribute information about the service chain; and sending, by the PCRF entity, a credit control response message to the application detection entity, the credit control response message comprising path identification information, so that, according to the path identification information, the application detection entity conducts forwarding processing on a received data packet sent by the user terminal.
