Abstract:
Disclosed by the present application are a service discovery method and apparatus. The method comprises: an access and mobility management function (AMF) acquires a first identifier of a network slice and the service type provided by the network slice, and sends first information of the network slice to an access network device; and the access network device broadcasts second information associated with the first information of the network slice to a terminal device. Since the second information comprises the service type provided by the network slice and first instruction information used to instruct the terminal device to display the service type provided by the network slice, the terminal device may display the service type provided by the network slice to a user on a user interaction interface thereof. Therefore, when the terminal device is located in the deployment range of the network slice, the terminal device assists the user in selecting and accessing the network slice, thus effectively improving the access efficiency of the network slice.
