Abstract:
The invention comprises a main connector 30, and a detection connector 40 provided adjacent to the main connector 30. The main connector 30 comprises: a pair of plate-shaped terminals 32 disposed in such a form that the respective plate surfaces are positioned on the same plane; a container portion 34 in which the pair of plate-shaped terminals 32 are contained; and a first connection portion 36, 38 containing a first connection terminal, inserted into the container portion 34 thereby causing the first connection terminal to establish a connection between the pair of plate-shaped terminals 32. The container portion 34 is provided with a locking portion 34B. The first connection portion 36, 38 is provided with a locked-on portion 38B. The detection connector 40 comprises: a detection housing 44 wherein a pair of detection terminals 42 are disposed; and a second connection portion 46 containing a second connection terminal, disposed to be movable by being caused to slide in a direction along the plate surfaces of the pair of plate-shaped terminals 32 within the limits of the width of the first connection portion 36, 38 between a non-engaged position, in which the second connection portion 46 is not engaged in the detection housing 44, and an engaged position, in which the second connection portion 46 is engaged in the detection housing 44, thereby causing the second connection terminal to establish a connection between the pair of detection terminals 42.
