Title:
SESSION CHANGE METHOD AND SESSION CHANGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2010109860
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology to enable a seamless and highly flexible session change, while reducing the increase of processing load of a session control server caused by session change requests from terminals, and reducing the load to the network traffic. Trigger information is embedded in a session of a content used by a terminal, and when the terminal detects the trigger information, the terminal performs an action which has been set as a trigger action (such as a change to another session). The relationship between the trigger information and the trigger action can be described in the sequence information which the terminal has previously retained, or the trigger action can be described in the trigger information. In response to a certain trigger information, different trigger actions may be set for the respective terminals (or corresponding to the status of the terminal), and thereby, different session changes can be realized for the respective terminals or in accordance with the status of the terminal.
