Abstract:
The present application provides a session establishment method and apparatus. The method comprises: when an access network device acquires a first session establishment request from a first core network device, if the access network device determines that a first session established by the first session establishment request corresponds to the same multicast broadcast service as a second session, determining that an air interface resource corresponding to the first session is the same as an air interface resource corresponding to the second session, wherein the first session establishment request is used for requesting to establish the first session corresponding to a first multicast broadcast service, and the second session is a session established between the access network device and a second core network device. By means of the method provided in the present application, when it is determined that a first session that a first core network device requests to establish corresponds to the same multicast broadcast service as a second session, an air interface resource corresponding to the second session can be taken as an air interface resource corresponding to the first session, thereby saving on air interface resources, improving the resource utilization rate, and improving the transmission efficiency.
