Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sewing machine and a recording medium on which a program is recorded, the sewing machine and recording medium being capable of acquiring a composite image while limiting the occurrence of color intensity differences at the junctions between partial images. The sewing machine, which is provided with an imaging unit and a conveyance unit, specifies a target area that is an area broader than the imaging area (S1). The sewing machine calculates the minimum number of conveyances in a first direction when imaging the entire target area (S2). A specified area, which is an area within the imaging area that can image the entire target area in the minimum number of conveyances, and the relative position corresponding to the specified area are set (S5). The sewing machine executes processing to generate multiple partial image data, which represent the partial images taken in the specified area of the imaging unit, the number of times calculated for the minimum number of conveyances (S8, S9). The sewing machine combines the multiple partial image data and generates composite image data representing the entire target area (S11).
