Abstract:
This shaft coupling is provided with a driving hub which is connected to a driving shaft so as to be rotatable therewith, a driven hub which is connected to a driven shaft so as to be rotatable therewith, and a rotation transmitting section which transmits rotation between the driving hub and the driven hub. The shaft coupling is further provided with a dynamic vibration absorber which is connected integrally to the outer peripheral surface of the rotation transmitting section. Mounting the dynamic vibration absorber on the rotation transmitting section can increase vibration absorbing characteristics while torsional rigidity is maintained.
