Abstract:
A shaft cover-type device for fully continuous elevation of a spud leg of an offshore turbine installer vessel. The device comprises a ring beam (1), a spud leg (4), a short shaft (5) and four shaft cover units (A, B, C, D). Each of the shaft cover units (A, B, C, D) is composed of a left shaft cover (a), a right shaft cover (b), an elevation sliding block (c), two oil cylinders (d) and a piston rod (e). The four shaft cover units (A, B, C, D) are symmetrically arranged in stopper recesses surrounding the ring beam (1), and each of the shaft cover units (A, B, C, D) is powered respectively by the elevation sliding block (c) thereof to move upward or downward in a predetermined region, the oil cylinders (d) are connected and fastened to the elevation sliding block (c) via a screw, the oil cylinders (d) provide power for the left and right shaft covers (a, b) via the piston rod (e), and the left and right shaft covers (a, b) synchronously slide horizontally in a sliding groove of the elevation sliding block (c) to realize separation from or engagement with the short shaft (5). The short shaft (5) is fixed to the spud leg (4) via welding, and the spud leg (4) moves upward or downward with the elevation sliding block (c) when the left and right shaft covers (a, b) are engaged. Further provided is a shaft cover-type method for fully continuous elevation of a spud leg of an offshore turbine installer vessel.
