Abstract:
A shape acquisition device 1 includes a machining center (2), a stylus (10), and a contact sensor (4) which is attached to a main spindle (50) of the machining center (2) and which holds the stylus. The machining center (2): brings the stylus (10) into contact with a first surface (7) and a second surface (8) forming a corner portion (6) to acquire first reference coordinates C(0) and second reference coordinates D(0); then brings the stylus (10) into contact with the corner portion (6) from a first axis direction (X) and a second axis direction (Y) to acquire first corner portion coordinates (F1) and second corner portion coordinates (F2); and compares logical coordinates (E) of the corner portion (6) with the first corner portion coordinates (F1) and the second corner portion coordinates (F2) to determine the shape of the corner portion (6) of a workpiece (5).
