Abstract:

A shape-forming shutter device includes a plurality of shutter pieces (15) disposed in a ring-like form and also includes a pressure-contact energizing means (21), wherein each shutter piece (15) has a shape-forming surface (17) and a sliding surface (19), the shape-forming surface (17) of each shutter piece (15) is in slidable contact with the sliding surface of its neighboring shutter piece (15), an opening (9) surrounded by the shape-forming surfaces (17) of the shutter pieces (15) is expandable, and the pressure-contact energizing means (21) always maintains contact between the shape-forming surfaces (17) and the sliding surfaces (19) of the neighboring shutter pieces (15) in such a way that the surfaces (17, 19) are slidably pressed against each other. The pressure-contact energizing means (21) is an elastic member for uniformly energizing the shutter pieces (15) in the direction to close the opening (9). The shape-forming surface (17) and the sliding surface (19) of each shutter piece (15) meet at one end of the shutter piece (15), and the elastic member is stretched around the other ends that are each spaced from the one end.
