Abstract:
This invention relates to a shape input system for inputting a component shape by use of symbolic keys in an interactive numeric controller or in an automatic programming apparatus. The start and end points of an inputted shape constituent element (4) are designated, the shape constituent elements between these points are copied and the component shape is inputted. In this manner, the input operation of the same component shape is simplified.
