Abstract:
A shape inspection device (100) is provided with: a support device (1) for providing support such that a warping direction of a front axle (F) is the Y-axis direction; a first shape measurement device (2) and second shape measurement device (3) that are arranged to either side of the front axle (F) in the Z-axis direction and optically measure the YZ-cross-sectional shape of the front axle (F); a movement mechanism (4) for respectively moving the first and second shape measurement devices (2, 3) in the X-axis direction and Y-axis direction; and a computation device (5) to which measurement results from the first and second shape measurement devices (2, 3) are inputted and which computes the dimensions of a prescribed site on the front axle (F). The movement mechanism (4) moves the first and second shape measurement devices (2, 3) in the Y-axis direction in accordance with the Y-axis direction position of the cross-section of the front axle (F) of which the cross-sectional shape is measured by the first and second shape measurement devices (2, 3), while also moving the first and second shape measurement devices (2, 3) in the X-axis direction.
