Abstract:
An actuator operated by the shape recovering forces of a shape memory alloys, wherein two or one stable position is provided to an operating end and, when two stable positions are provided to the operating end, an intermediate member (3) is moved to first and second intermediate member stable positions when the first and second shape memory alloys (14a, 14b) generate the shape recovering forces, a reverse energizing means (12) for energizing an operating end member (7) and the intermediate member (3) so as to move the specified positions thereof relative to each other is provided, and the energizing means energizes the operating end member (7) in the reverse direction of the first or second stable position according to the moved position of the intermediate member (3) and, when one stable position is provided to the operating end, an energizing means for energizing the intermediate member (3) to one intermediate member stable position is provided instead of one shape memory alloy.
