Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to hygienically dispense a predetermined length of sheet. In this sheet dispensing device 1, a sheet feeding mechanism 20 dispenses a predetermined length of sheet to be used from a sheet dispensing port 113c while holding the sheet with a driving roller 210 and a driven roller 220 positioned on the upstream side of the sheet dispensing port 113c in the feeding direction. The driven roller 220 is biased by a leaf spring 222 so as to be pressed against the driving roller 210. Because of this, the sheet is provided hanging down from the sheet ejection opening 113c. When the hanging sheet is grabbed and pulled downward, the sheet is cut off from the vicinity of the position where the sheet is being held, such that a user can hygienically obtain the predetermined length of sheet to be used.
