Abstract:

Provided is a sheet manufacturing device and the like with which problems due to lack of heating and the like can be reduced. The sheet manufacturing device comprises: a deposition unit for depositing material including fibers and resin; a heating unit for heating deposited material deposited by the deposition unit, the heating unit including a first rotating body and a second rotating body; a displacing mechanism for displacing the heating unit between a first position for the first rotating body and the second rotating body to sandwich and heat the deposited material, and a second position in which the first rotating body and the second rotating body are spaced apart from each other; and a control unit which causes the first rotating body and the second rotating body to be heated in the second position and then displaced to the first position.
